Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) invites applications for recruitment of Teaching Posts at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh from the eligible candidates. Last date for application is 21st November 2014

1. Professor - 22

Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed A Ph.D. degree with first class at Bachelor's OR Master's Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering & Technology OR i. In the event the candidate is from industry and the Profession, the following shall constitute as essential: 1. First Class Master's Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering & Tech.
Experience: Experience of ten years in Teaching, research and/or Industry, Out of which at least Five years at the level of Associate Professor, Reader or equivalent Grade.
Pay Scale: INR 37400-67000 + AGP INR 10000/-

2. Associate Professor - 21

Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed Ph.D. degree with First Class at Bachelor's or Master's degree in the appropriate branch of Engg. & Tech.
Experience: experience of eight years in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of Lecturer/ Assistant Professor or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree.
Pay Scale: INR 37400-67000 + AGP INR 9000/-

3. Assistant Professor - 32

Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed First Class Master's Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology. Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable: 1. Teaching, research industrial and /or professional experience in a reputed organization; 2. Paper presented at Conferences and/ or in Referred journals
Experience: Not Specified
Pay Scale: INR 15600-39100 + AGP INR 6000/-

4. Principal (Women's Polytechnic) - 01

Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed Master's Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology with First Class at Master's OR Bachelor's level.
Experience: 15 years experience in teaching out of which at least 5 years shall be at the level of Head of section or equivalent.
Pay Scale: INR 37400-67000 + AGP INR 10000/-
