Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) invites applications for recruitment of Resident, Medical Officer, Demonstrator, Tutor at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh from the eligible candidates.   1. Senior Resident

    2. Pay Scale: INR 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of INR 6600/- +NPA

  2. Senior Medical Officer (Casualty)

    3. Pay Scale: INR 15600-39100+Grade Pay of INR 6600/-plus NPA

  3. Senior Demonstrator (Medical)

    4. Pay Scale: INR 15600-39100+Grade Pay of INR6600/- plus NPA.

  4. Senior Demonstrator (Non Medical)

    5. Pay Scale: INR 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of INR 5400/-

  5. Junior Demonstrator (Medical)

    6. Pay Scale: INR 9300-34800 + Grade Pay INR 4200/- Plus NPA

  6. Junior Demonstrator (Non Medical)

    7. Pay Scale: INR 9300-34800 + Grade Pay INR 4200/-.

  7. Tutor (Medical)

    8. Pay Scale: INR 9300-34800 + Grade Pay INR 4200/- plus NPA.
Application Fee: The amount of fee to be paid is as under:- SC/ST Rs.500/-, For all others Rs.1000/-

Educational Qualifications:

Senior Resident:- a) A Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in the Part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act). b) Must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council. c) A Postgraduate degree in the specialty concerned or its equivalent except for the following posts for which required postgraduate degree will be as under or its 
equivalent: Medical Officer:- a) and b) same for the post of Senior Resident. c) Postgraduate qualification is MD/MS (Medicine/Surgery). Demonstrator:- i) M.Sc. in subject concerned. ii) Ph.D. in the subject concerned/allied subject. Tutor (Medical):- a) A Medical qualification included in the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (MBBS) with one year experience. b) Candidate must be registered with the State/Central Medical Council.
